Candidates in the 2026 Lubbock mayoral race are set to answer community questions at the George & Helen Mahon Public Library during a public forum hosted by Texas Tech Public Media and the Lubbock Avalanche‑Journal.
The forum will be moderated by local reporters Brad Burt of Texas Tech Public Media and Mateo Rosiles of the Lubbock Avalanche‑Journal, with questions focused on issues facing the city as early voting for the May city elections begins April 20.
