A vehicle crashed into a Wichita Falls business and caught on fire, a fire official said in a media release. The blaze left the business with exterior and interior damage.
At 4:08 a.m. Thursday, the Wichita Falls Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 3916 Call Field Road, Assistant Fire Marshal Eddie Mawson said.
The fire was at Affordable Dentures & Implants in a popular shopping center.
The first unit arriving on scene called out with a vehicle on fire that had crashed into the store front, Mawson said.
The fire triggered a sprinkler head at the front of the store, he said. The incident left the storefront damaged, as well as the interior of the business.
The total estimated damage was about $25,000 to the structure, Mawson said. No one was in the business at the time, and no injuries were reported.
Eight units and 19 firefighters responded to the fire caused by a burning vehicle, he said.
