A family member had been in the process of moving a vehicle from the driveway when the toddler, who had walked to the driveway’s entrance near the street, was struck by the family vehicle, police said.

The child was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead due to the injuries from the accident, police said.

His name was not included in the press release.
