No. 3 seed Texas A&M swept the Campbell Fighting Camels to move on to the second round, where they will face the No. 6 seed TCU Horned Frogs at Reed Arena.
This marks the first time since 2019 that the Aggies will host, a testament to the strong work third-year coach Jamie Morrison has accomplished since arriving in Aggieland in 2022. It is also the first time since the 2015–16 season that A&M has recorded back-to-back 20-plus win campaigns. Morrison has steadily advanced in the NCAA Tournament, reaching the Sweet 16 after being eliminated in the first round in 2023.
A&M now has a chance for revenge after losing 3-2 in Fort Worth, Texas, early in the season. They would go on a seven-game winning streak, going 17-1 since that loss, while defeating three top-25 teams during that stretch. TCU had a strong opening round with a sweep of SFA, and with everything on the line, they want to repeat their success from the first matchup.
