With the fall season, pumpkins are bound to be aplenty.
From churches to farms, places in Corpus Christi are offering families a chance to pick their perfect pumpkin while enjoying some autumn-themed activities and photo-ops.

Rockin’ K Farms
Explore the huge corn maze and pick out the perfect pumpkin from the farm’s pumpkin patch. Enjoy many attractions, including giant slides, backyard games, farm animals, a cow train, an apple blaster and more. Don’t forget your camera so you can capture all the fall photo-ops around the farm. Hungry? Concessions around the farm serve drinks and foods like burgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese, lemonade, ice-cold water and soda. Tickets need to be purchased to enter.
When: Weekends Sept. 27 through Nov. 2; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays

St. John’s United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch
The annual neighborhood pumpkin patch at St. John’s features pumpkins of all sizes for sale, field trips for area kids and school groups, and free photo setups. Purchases can be made by cash, check or credit/debit card.
When: 12:30 p.m. to dusk daily from Oct. 4 through Halloween

Corpus Christi First United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch
Located at the church’s Garden of Grace, there will be plenty of photo-ops, a story walk, field trip opportunities and family fun. The money raised with the pumpkin patch will go toward the church’s Children’s Literacy Initiative.
When: Weekends Oct. 5 through Halloween; 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Fridays and Sundays

Portland First United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch
FUMC Portland offers a wide array of various-sized pumpkins and gourds, along with photo-shoot opportunities and activities for the kids.
When: Oct. 5 through Halloween; 3 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays and 1 to 7 p.m. Sundays
