The Houston Rockets will look to get back into the win column as they head to Wisconsin’s Fiserv Forum to take on the Milwaukee Bucks this Sunday (Nov. 9) evening. After having their longest win streak of the 2025-26 NBA regular season snapped by the San Antonio Spurs on the road, the Rockets hope they have the size and talent to out-physical Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks as their road trip continues.
This should be a winnable game for the Rockets so long as they don’t lay an egg — or Giannis goes supernova. Either way, it should be a competitive tilt for Houston they should be able to come out on top barring the unusual.
Records, standing, and streaks
At present, the Rockets have a 5-3 record, which puts them fifth in the Western Conference standings.
The Bucks are the owners of a 6-3 record, which is good enough for the Eastern Conference’s No. 4 spot.
What happened in the last game for each team?
Houston lost to the San Antonio Spurs 121-110 on the road.
Milwaukee beat the Chicago Bulls 126-110 at home.
Injuries
For Houston, Dorian Finney-Smith (ankle) and Fred VanVleet (ACL) are out.
For Milwaukee, Taurean Prince (neck) and Kevin Porter Jr. (knee) are out, and Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) is probable.
