Former Texas A&M running back erupts for 225 yards, 2 TDs in Dolphins' win over Bills

Texas A&M has several Aggies in the NFL who have been making big plays this season, and one of the most dynamic players has been the speedy De’Von Achane. The Miami Dolphins running back already has over 1,100 total yards and is considered one of the top dual-threat backs in the league. On Sunday, against the Buffalo Bills, he delivered his best performance of the season.

Things haven’t gone well for the Dolphins this year. Before Sunday, they were 2-7, with any playoff hopes essentially extinguished. Achane has been a bright spot throughout the struggles, and this marks his second game this season with over 100 rushing yards and two touchdowns. It was also his second time surpassing 20 carries, and it paid off with 174 rushing yards. He added six receptions for 51 yards, totaling 225 yards on 28 touches.

He truly sealed the game in the fourth quarter with a 35-yard touchdown run that put Miami ahead 30-13 with under four minutes remaining. There was considerable speculation before the trade deadline that Achane might finish the season in a different jersey. However, no deal was made, and he responded with his most impressive outing of the year.

You can check out a few of the highlights from Achane’s big day.
