First under Spaghetti Bowl concert to feature Disclosure, Chanel Tres

The Spaghetti Bowl, actually the iconic space underneath the freeway, will be the spot for a new concert series starting Sunday, Oct. 5.

Kiki Cervantes, an El Paso business owner and festival organizer, said he wants to transform a cultural space like Lincoln Park, located at 4001 Durazno St., into a concert venue. And then do it again somewhere else in El Paso.

“I’ve been doing it for about 10 years. We’ve done a lot of parties and events Downtown and this is the first of its kind. We want to take iconic spaces and turn them into an immersive concert series,” he said, standing underneath the overpass on Durazno Street, surrounded by muraled piers.

Cervantes is part of J&K Present, a live events company that also operates several bars, such as Later Later, Hush Hush, and Lost and Found.

For their first open-air concert, J&K Present will feature the Grammy-nominated duo Disclosure and the genre-blending performer Chanel Tres, who will headline an evening of music, art and culture.

“We’re converting it into an experience that I think we deserve here in El Paso with award-winning artists, as well as local artists, local vendors and a local muralist painting on site,” Cervantes said.

Disclosure is an English electronic music duo consisting of brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence. They were nominated in the 2025 Grammy Awards in the dance/electronic category for their song “She’s Gone, Dance On.”

Channel Tres, whose real name is Sheldon Jerome Young, is an American rapper, DJ, singer and record producer from Compton, Calif. Tres is best known for his singles “Controller” and “Topdown.”

The event will start at 4 p.m., and because of limited street parking, organizers are encouraging attendees to use Uber ride-sharing services. There will be designated areas for drop-offs.

Cervantes said the event is a way to appreciate a great city landmark.

“We’ve grown up in El Paso. I’m from here. I feel like we’ve all driven by it, and it’s iconic. We all know about the Spaghetti Bowl, but I’ve never had the ability to like, really enjoy it the way we’re going to,” he said. “It’s adding to the art and culture and community that really goes on here.”

General admission tickets are available at www.JandKDetour.com. Tickets start at $85.07.

Cervantes won’t reveal where the next concert will be, but said plans are already underway.
