Bucky McMillon and the Texas A&M Aggies have landed their first transfer of the offseason, and it is a massive one. Four-star point guard PJ Haggerty committed to the Aggies on Friday, announcing the news on Instagram.
Haggerty is originally from Crosby, Texas, and spent the past season with the Kansas State Wildcats. Texas A&M is his fifth school in five years after he started his career at TCU before transferring to Tulsa, Memphis, Kansas State, and eventually Texas A&M.
No matter where he has played, Haggerty has produced. He averaged a career-high 23.4 points, 3.8 assists, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.3 turnovers last year at Kansas State, being named the Big 12 Transfer of the Year and to the All-Big 12 Second Team. He shot 48.9% from the floor, 35.1% from 3-point range, and 70.1% from the free-throw line. He scored 20 or more points in 23 of his 31 games last season.

He has averaged 21.0 points, 3.6 assists, 5.3 rebounds, 1.6 steals, and 2.9 turnovers in 103 career games. He is a career 48.6% shooter from the floor, 33.0% from deep, and 76.8% from the free-throw line.
