An elderly woman who was found dead in a burned home near Electra Monday has been identified.
Wichita County Sheriff William Rutledge identified her as Pansy Henry, 92.
Rutledge said her cause of death is still awaiting completion of an autopsy.
According to a Wichita County Sheriff’s Office media release, deputies responded to the 3800 block of State Highway 25 North on a house fire call at 12:21 p.m. Monday.
The release said the two-story residence was engulfed by fire when the Electra Fire Department arrived in the scene.
