Senior running back Ryan Estrada scored three rushing touchdowns to lead El Dorado High School to a 28-20 win vs. Americas on at the SAC 2.
El Dorado improves to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in District 1-5A, Division 1. Americas is 3-3 overall and 1-1 in district.
The Aztecs scored the final 14 points of the Friday night game.
After a tight first half, the Aztecs led the Trailblazers, 14-13. Dante Ortega kicked two field goals to help lead the way for Americas and El Dorado got a touchdown run by Estrada and a TD catch by Rahsan Bryant.
Next up for Americas is a visit to Bel Air and El Dorado takes on Parkland. Both games are on Friday, Oct. 10.
