Rihyael Kelly, a class of 2026 safety for the Winton Woods Warriors, flipped his college football commitment from Rutgers to Alabama June 24, Kelley confirmed in a social media post.
Kelley helped the Warriors to a 10-2 record in 2024. The team beat Little Miami 35-0 in its first postseason game before losing to St. Xavier 22-10 a week later. On the season, Kelley recorded 23 tackles, two interceptions and a fumble return touchdown.
Kelley originally committed to Toledo on May 9. Then on June 8, he decommitted from Toledo and committed to Rutgers. Two weeks and a day later, he flipped to Alabama, which offered him three days after he committed to Rutgers. Kelley’s other power conference offers were Vanderbilt and West Virginia. 247Sports rates him as a three-star, the 81st-best safety in the class of 2026 and the 39th-best recruit in Ohio.
