Some isolated light bouts of rainfall, primarily in the afternoon, will pass over Cincinnati on May 24. The greatest chance for showers is between 1 and 5 p.m., according to the weather service.
More rain is likely in the southeast stretches of the region, along and southeast of Interstate 71. In areas such as Clermont County, heavy showers and thunderstorms have the potential to lead to rapid rises on creeks and streams as well as some flooding.
