Greater Akron is in for what is being best described as an “active” weather week.
The National Weather Service says a bit of everything is in the forecast for this week.
Some light snow showers are possible Tuesday along with some gusty winds that are expected to hang around through Thursday.
The warmest day of the week will be Wednesday when the high is expected to be in the upper 30s.
Some snow, then rain and then more snow is possible as the temperatures will be a bit on a seesaw.
And then unseasonably cold temperatures are expected along with chances of snow pretty much everyday through the weekend.
The high on Saturday is expected to be in the teens.

Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 26. East wind 7 to 9 mph.
Monday night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 12. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 7 mph after midnight.
Tuesday: A chance of snow, mainly before 1 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 36. South wind 9 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Tuesday night: Rain, possibly mixed with snow, becoming all rain after 4 a.m. Low around 32. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Wednesday: Rain before 1 p.m., then snow, possibly mixed with rain. High near 39. Breezy, with a southwest wind 18 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 43 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Wednesday night: Snow likely, possibly mixed with rain, becoming all snow after 7 p.m. Cloudy, with a low around 22. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Thursday: A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 29. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Thursday night: A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 19. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Friday: Snow likely, mainly after 1 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 28. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Friday night: Snow likely, mainly before 1 a.m. Cloudy, with a low around 11. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
Saturday: A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 18. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Saturday night: A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 9. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 20.
