The Ohio high school football season is nearing its conclusion with state title games on the schedule in December.
In OHSAA Division III, Toledo Central Catholic will face off against Columbus Watterson in the state championship decider.
Toledo Central Catholic rallied late in their state semifinal matchup against CVCA to pull off a stunning 21-20 victory. CVCA took a two-score lead into the fourth quarter and had their own chance to win late, but a would-be game-winning field goal try from 29 yards out sailed wide left as time expired, delivering the win to Toledo Central Catholic.
Columbus Watterson, meanwhile, handily defeated Tippecanoe in the state semis by a final score of 41-9.
