Columbus police searching for 76-year-old man with dementia

Columbus police are asking the public’s help to locate a missing 76-year-old man with dementia and blood pressure issues who was last seen on the city’s Northeast Side.

Garnett Davis was last seen around 3 p.m. Feb. 4 at his home on Adirondack Avenue on Columbus’ Northeast Side, according to the Columbus police Missing Persons Unit. Police said that Davis has dementia and blood pressure issues and does not have his medication with him.

Police said he left his home in a white 2015 Hyundai Sonata with the license plate number HGS9848.

Davis was last seen wearing a navy blue sweat suit, an AEP brown wool jacket, and gray shoes, according to Columbus police. He is described as being 5-foot-11 with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who has seen Davis or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact Columbus police at 614-645-4646.
