U.S. News & World Report just published its annual ranking of the best children’s hospitals in the country, and two hospitals from Ohio made the top 10.
Cincinnati Children’s and Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus were tied for No. 1 in the Midwest.
Here are the top 10 children’s hospitals in the U.S. this year, listed in alphabetical order.
This year, U.S. News partnered with research firm RTI International to collect and analyze data from 118 children’s hospitals and surveyed thousands of pediatric specialists. Clinical outcomes and other metrics related to patient care were used to aggregate the rankings.
“U.S. News has long assisted parents and caregivers in finding the best possible care for children with serious illnesses or complex medical needs,” said Ben Harder, chief of health analysis and managing editor at U.S. News. “Our annual rankings of pediatric hospitals provide a roadmap to exceptional care for families.”
