We are still a little over three months away from the start of the college football season, but we’re starting to see some of the betting odds released for some of the bigger games. And, if we are talking big games in the sport, that has to involve YOUR Ohio State Buckeyes.
We don’t yet have odds for most of the games, even some of the bigger ones like the games vs. Michigan, Oregon, and USC, but we have early odds for OSU’s trip to Texas on Sep. 12 and the game on the road against Indiana on Oct. 17. So, what does BetMGM say about Ohio State’s chances in these two games?

For the first, early litmus test in Austin, the Buckeyes are slight underdogs at +1.5. There’s no over/under or money line available yet, but that’s pretty much a coin flip for a road contest against a team expected to be highly ranked.
Ohio State football at Indiana early betting odds
For what should be a much-anticipated matchup in Bloomington vs. defending College Football Playoff national champion Indiana, the betting odds have the Buckeyes as a slight favorite by the same -1.5 point spread. That might be a little surprising since it’s a road contest and the Hoosiers aren’t expected to go anywhere, but … time will tell, especially this early on.
That’s all we have so far with the betting odds when looking at BetMGM, but as we get more and as things move throughout the year, we’ll bring it all to you so that you can do with the information as you wish.
