Art on Main will return June 14 to downtown Ravenna with vendors and activities on the Courthouse Lawn from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Arasin Hughes, executive director of Main Street Ravenna, said Art on Main is marking its ninth year. The event will include more than 50 booths, several wineries, live music and other activities.
The wineries that will be featured at Art on Main are:
Six musical acts will perform, with It’s About Time Duo at 11 a.m.; John Harrow at noon; Eulie Blue, a duo from the Blue Ridge Music Center in Galax, Va at 1 p.m..; Celtic Rush at 2 p.m.; Kari Ann Rutushin at 3 p.m.; and Mick Rogers at 4 p.m.
New this year is a Live Sip and Paint at 2 p.m. on the Courthouse Lawn. The event, sponsored by For the Birds and More, will include an Art on Main wine glass and three drink tickets, as well as materials to create a painting. Cost is $55 a person, and registration is required through an online form available on Main Street Ravenna’s Facebook page.
Activities for children include a free yoga class and free painting session.
“People of all ages are invited to come and enjoy a good day for everyone,” Hughes said. “It will feature art, wine and a lot of local offerings.”
A celebration is planned next year to honor the 10th anniversary of Art on Main, Hughes said.
