Looking for a getaway? Rickenbacker International Airport and Allegiant are now offering nonstop service to Key West, Florida.
The flights will go to Key West International Airport (EYW) up to twice weekly. Flight days, times and fares are available at Allegiant.com.
“We’re excited to kick off the summer travel season with this new nonstop route between Columbus and Key West,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer, in a news release. “Whether you’re attending a special event, planning a dream vacation, or visiting family and friends, our goal is to connect more travelers to their favorite destinations with Allegiant’s award-winning customer service at unbeatable value.”
How to get a low-cost flight
To celebrate the new flight, Allegiant was offering $74 one-way fares for a limited time. The deal ended on May 23 for flights scheduled before August 16. But, a check of the company’s website on May 24 show fares even lower.
Allegiant, based in Las Vegas, also offers savings on rental cars and hotels.
