One of them died at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, according to the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office.

A condition update is not yet available for the other person.

When first responders arrived, they freed someone who was trapped in a vehicle and began performing CPR, according to initial emergency communication reports.

It’s not clear when Galbraith Road will reopen or if the crash is related to the weather. All lanes are closed on the ramp from East Galbraith Road to Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway, due to a crash.

Heavy rain fell overnight, and flood watches are up across the Tri-State.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
