Finger Lakes Community College evacuated its main campus on the morning of May 14 due to a bomb threat, the school announced.
According to FLCC, a suspect is in custody and classes are canceled until 2 p.m. to allow the police adequate time to search the main building.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office released a statement saying that all students and faculty are safe at this time. OCSO said the investigation is ongoing and the FLCC campus is closed to the public.
FLCC released an update on their website, saying that counselors are available at CMAC and the Suites at Laker Landing for any students still on campus grounds.
FLCC and OCSO stated that more updates will be provided as they become available.
