Some changes with the Giants:

— Offensive assistant Angela Baker left the organization to pursue other opportunities. She had been with the team since 2022.

— Giants hired Tyson Beane as a scouting assistant. He is the son of Bills GM Brandon Beane.

The Giants initially hired Baker as a minority coaching fellow and offensive quality control coach in February of 2022.

Before joining the Giants, Baker had served as the kickers and punters/special teams/defensive quality control coach for the University of Redlands Bulldogs, a Division III school out of Southern California.

Baker also has on-field experience, having played for the Pittsburgh Passion in the Women’s Football Alliance (full-contact). During that time, she was named a seven-time All-American and the 2016 National Conference Offensive Player of the League.

While with the Cleveland Browns as part of the Bill Walsh Diversity Coach Fellowship program, Baker worked with the team’s quarterbacks. She helped analyze film, study the playbooks, and identify quarterback weaknesses.

Baker, who is a New York native, graduated from Slippery Rock University (PA) with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Activity and Fitness Management.

Along with Laura Young, Baker was one of two female coaches on staff with the Giants.

As Raanan also noted, the Giants have hired Tyson Beane, the son of Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane, as a scouting assistant.
