This is one week where you’d rather skip to what weather forecasters say is in store early next week for the Lower Hudson Valley.

Wednesday, March 4, is predicted to be partly sunny with a high near 47 degrees, the National Weather Service said.
Wednesday night’s low is expected to be around 34 degrees. There’s a 30% chance of rain overnight, starting after 4 a.m. Thursday.
Rain is expected, mainly after 7 a.m., on Thursday. Patchy fog before is in the forecast before 10 a.m. Thursday’s high should be near 42 degrees. New precipitation of a quarter to half of an inch are possible.
Thursday night is predicted to bring more rain, with a low temperature around 36 degrees. New precipitation of a half to three quarters of an inch are possible.
Looking ahead to weekend weather
A cloudy Friday holds a 30% chance of rain before 1 p.m., with a high near 43 degrees. A northeast wind of 6 to 10 mph could have gusts as high as 20 mph.
A cloudy Friday night is predicted to have a low around 37 degrees.
Saturday is expected to be mostly cloudy, but with a high near 5 degrees. Saturday night is likely to have showers likely before 1 a.m., with a low around 45 degrees.
A mostly sunny Sunday is predicted to have a high near 58 degrees.
Warmer temperatures on horizon
That brings us to next week’s predicted warmer start, after a long, long winter of frigid stretches, snow heaps and icy conditions.
A sunny Monday is currently predicted to hit a high temperature near 63 degrees, and a mostly sunny Tuesday’s high could be near 65 degrees.
