One person was injured early Sunday morning, April 5, after shots were fired outside a Nyack restaurant.
Orangetown Police said gunshots were reported around 2:56 a.m. in the area of Main Street and N. Mill Street, near Maraj Restaurant and Lounge.
While officers were on the scene, Orangetown Police Department said it received a call from Montefiore Nyack Hospital to report a walk-in victim with a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim later confirmed to police that they were shot in the area of Main Street and N. Mill Street. The victim’s injuries appeared to be non-life threatening.
Police say the shooting remains under investigation. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Orangetown Police Department at 845-359-3700.
