New York Giants expected to re-sign OL Aaron Stinnie

The New York Giants are expected to re-sign veteran offensive lineman Aaron Stinnie, bolstering depth along their offensive line ahead of the upcoming season. The move brings the 32-year-old guard back for a second year with the team on a one-year deal.

Stinnie, a native of Charlottesville, Virginia, originally signed with the Giants as a free agent in March 2024 after spending time with the Tennessee Titans (2018-2019) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2019-2023).

During his first season in New York, he appeared in 16 games, earning three starts at left guard late in the year while filling in for injuries. His veteran experience proved valuable amid the Giants’ ongoing challenges with offensive line health and consistency.

Undrafted out of James Madison University in 2018—where he earned FCS All-American honors and helped win a national championship—Stinnie has carved out a reliable backup role across his eight NFL seasons. He won Super Bowl LV with the Buccaneers in 2021 and has shown versatility at guard positions despite past injuries, including an ACL tear in 2022.

The re-signing continues the Giants’ emphasis on retaining experienced depth pieces, joining other offensive linemen like Jermaine Eluemunor and Evan Neal in returning.

Stinnie’s familiarity with the organization and ability to contribute in spot duty make him a practical addition as the team builds its 2026 roster.
