New York Giants hire Mike Nobler as Director of Football Video Operations

The New York Giants have hired Mike Nobler as Director of Football Video Operations — a move confirmed on their official website.

Nobler joins the team after serving in the same role with the Miami Dolphins for the past 11 seasons, bringing extensive experience in managing NFL-level football video departments.

The move addresses previous limitations in the Giants’ video operations, which had been undermanned compared to most league teams under prior regimes. Art Stapleton of USA TODAY reports that the department previously operated with a two-man staff, and Nobler’s addition represents an expansion rather than a replacement.

Nobler was already assisting the Giants at the NFL Scouting Combine, and his title now appears on the team’s official website, where he will report to Senior VP of Football Operations Dawn Aponte.

This hiring aligns with broader efforts to bolster support staff and modernize operations under the current front office. Video operations play a key role in game preparation, practice filming, opponent scouting, and self-analysis through high-quality footage management and coordination.
