Raiyah Patterson scored two goals and assisted on a third for New Hartford in the Spartans’ annual Gold Game to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer. Six other players scored goals, and Maddie Cioch and Evie Ruggiero combined to make five saves in the team’s third consecutive shutout and fourth of the season.

Two senior New Hartford players – Ashlee Fisher and Caitlin Chiffy – who battled serious disease last year are now doing very well. The Rome Free Academy girls collected their own donations to contribute to the cause. Donations will be given to Amazing Gracie’s Gifts Foundation.
