Canandaigua Farmers Market to open for winter season. Here's what you should know.

CANANDAIGUA — It seems like only yesterday when the Canandaigua Farmers Market opened for the late spring, summer and early fall seasons.

Actually, it was June! Where does the time go?

The market’s winter season opens from 10 to 11 a.m. Nov. 8, just in time for Thanksgiving.

What vendors will be at the winter Canandaigua Farmers Market?

Many of the vendors are familiar faces from season to season.

A new vendor, The More The Marion, is expected to debut at the winter market, offering a variety of flavors of sourdough loaves, sourdough English muffins, as well as other sourdough treats.

You’ve seen them all summer and they’re back for the winter market’s opening day: Riedman Happy Hives, K&S Bischoping, Carney Agri Farm, Stoney Acres, Kitchen Blessings Baking, Ms. Linzy’s Mac-N-Cheese, Bristol Hills Lavender & Flower Farm, Seneca Vegetables, Hunt Heritage Farm, Schrader Meats, The Woodland Elf, Andy’s Specialty Produce, and Clearview Farm.

More vendors are also expected.

The market is held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. every other Saturday.

For the remainder of the year, the winter market will be held Nov. 8 and Nov. 22; and Dec. 6 and Dec. 20.

For those setting up their calendars for 2026, the market will be held Jan. 3, Jan. 17 and Jan. 31; Feb. 14 and Feb. 28; March 14 and March 28; April 11 and April 25; and May 9 and May 23.

Then, before you know it, the summer market will begin anew.

Where is the Canandaigua Farmers Market?

For a second year, the winter market will be held in the same location as the summer market, under the Mill Street pavilion.

The pavilion is on the east side of South Main Street in the parking lot between Lafayette Avenue and Mill Street.
