Bills defense hits historic low while being gashed by Bijan Robinson and Drake London

The Buffalo Bills’ defense made unwanted history on Monday night.

For the first time in their 1,005 games as a franchise, the Bills allowed both a 150-yard rusher and a 150-yard receiver in the same game, as the Atlanta Falcons gashed them 24-14 on Monday Night Football.

Atlanta running back Bijan Robinson erupted for 238 all-purpose yards, 170 rushing on 19 carries with a touchdown and five catches for 68 yards. Wide receiver Drake London added 10 receptions for 158 yards and a score.

Robinson, who exploded for an 81-yard touchdown run, and London accounted for 299 of the Falcons’ 335 yards of offense in the first half.

London was targeted on nearly half of his routes and was responsible for 74.3% of the Falcons air yards, according to Next Gen Stats.

The Bills have lost two straight games after a 4-0 start, dropping the Bills to second place in the AFC East behind the New England Patriots.
