See how Caitlin Clark fared in Team USA vs Senegal, full stats

Caitlin Clark was back in action on Wednesday, hitting the court for a competitive game for the first time since July 15.

The former Iowa women’s basketball star is competing for Team USA in World Cup qualifying games. She missed most of the WNBA season due to injuries.

USA Basketball has already qualified for the World Cup, which is set for Sept. 4-13 in Berlin, Germany. However, the organization still opted to play in the qualifying tournament to get reps for younger players and try out lineups and rotations.

Clark and the United States took on Senegal on Wednesday in their first game in the competition. Check out how the superstar did in Team USA’s 110-46 victory.

Caitlin Clark stats for Team USA vs Senegal

In Team USA’s big win, Clark posted a double-double, with 17 points and 12 assists while playing 19:21 in her return to action. She made 4-of-5 shots from long range, all five of her free throw attempts and pulled down a rebound in the win.

In the first half alone, the former Hawkeye posted eight points, making both her shot attempts from beyond the arc plus two free throws. She also had eight assists over the first two quarters.

Team USA is back in action on Thursday when they take on Puerto Rico. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT. Broadcast information can be found here.
