Iowa City Regina girls basketball player Ella Keune and Clear Creek Amana boys basketball player Kayden Howe were voted by readers as the Press-Citizen’s Athletes of the Week for Feb. 2-8.
Keune earned girls Athlete of the Week with 35% of the vote.
Keune helped the Regina girls basketball team earn a 54-35 win over Alburnett on Feb. 3. The senior totaled five points, four assists, two rebounds and a steal.
Howe earned boys Athlete of the Week with 56% of the vote.
Howe added productive minutes off the bench in CCA basketball’s 65-53 win over Benton on Feb. 3. The senior totaled six points, four assists and two steals.
