2026 FIBA World Cup roster: USA Basketball team adds Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston
Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston of the Indiana Fever were selected for the first time to represent USA Basketball in the 2026 FIBA World Cup for women’s basketball slated for Berlin, Germany, from Sept. 4-13, according to FIBA.
The duo join Fever head coach Stephanie White, who will be an assistant for the squad. Tamika Catchings is the only other Fever player to play for a World Cup team. Preliminary round games for Team USA begin Sept. 4, 2026, when the team plays China, followed by Italy (Sept. 6) and the Czech Republic (Sept. 7). The best record from each group automatically qualifies for the quarterfinal round. A quarterfinal qualification tournament will be held for second- and third-place squads to fill out the remaining qualifier spots.
