There were several standout individual performances across Southwestern Indiana this week. Who gets your vote?
Mater Dei’s Izzy Like was voted the Courier & Athlete of the Week for Dec. 1-6. The junior guard had 19 points against rival Reitz and a team-high 17 points (15 in the second half with a trio of 3s) in a 57-52 win over No. 6 Roncalli. The Wildcats are currently 6-3 and one of the top teams in the Southern Indiana Athletic Conference.
Like received 25,500 votes from over 54,000 total cast. Raven Jones of Princeton was the runner-up with 21,167.

Cole Breeden, Mater Dei: The sophomore forward averaged 20.5 points for the Wildcats in wins over South Spencer and Southridge.
Alexis Harris, South Spencer: The junior guard had 32 points for the Rebels in an 89-49 win over Tecumseh.
Kendal Hill, South Knox: The junior guard had 20 points and 16 rebounds in a 45-34 win over rival No. 1 North Knox.
Nash Hostetter, Mount Vernon: The senior guard had 24 points and three assists in a 49-25 win at rival North Posey.
Elle Jo Johnson, North Posey: The senior guard had 23 points and four rebounds in a 59-49 win at Boonville.
Raven Jones, Princeton: The senior guard had a team-high 17 points, including a half-court shot at the buzzer to beat Forest Park.
Jaylen Maners, Jasper: The junior forward had a game-high 26 points in a 60-55 win over Gibson Southern.
Jaxon McKain, Boonville: The junior had a team-high 20 points in a 53-45 victory over Bosse. First win over the Bulldogs since 2010.
Jayden Scott, Castle: The senior forward had four double-digit scoring efforts, including 21 against Owensboro Catholic and Fishers, in four games for the Knights.
Tim Swope, Reitz: The senior guard had a game-high 24 points for the Panthers in a 64-51 win over Vincennes Lincoln.
