GOSHEN — Goshen Parks & Recreation is offering Zumba classes to help participants de-stress, lose weight and make new friends. The class is held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays; 10 to 11 a.m. Saturdays through the month of October. The cost is $5 drop-in rate. Classes are held at Fidler Pavilion, Pringle Park, 1912 W. Lincoln Ave.
ELKHART — Elkhart County Parks will offer Yoga in the Park from 6 to 7 p.m. on July 24 at the Cobus Creek Shelter, Cobus Creek County Park, 30680 County Road 8. Join registered yoga teacher Amanda for an hour of empowering yoga. All skill levels are welcome. Participants, ages 18 and older, should dress for the weather and bring water and a yoga mat. This class is $5 with advance registration at elkhartcountyparks.org/events/.
NILES — The Niles District Library, 620 E. Main St., is offering “Yoga to Release and De-Stress,” every other Wednesday, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Community Room. The class is for adults 18 years and older and all levels of experience are welcome. Bring a mat and wear comfortable clothing that allows movement. There is no registration required, and admission is free. The next class is July 23.
SOUTH BEND — Downtown South Bend Inc. will offer free yoga, Zumba and more every Saturday through Aug. 30. The program is held at the Gridiron, 122 S. Michigan St. The drop-in classes are free and open to all ages and skill levels. Participants are encouraged to bring a small donation of canned goods, non-perishables or personal items for the Food Bank each week. Participants should dress in appropriate clothing and footwear, bring a mat and adequate fluids, and will be required to sign a waiver for the season. Free parking is available on the street and in Leighton Parking Garage; enter off Jefferson Boulevard. This Saturday’s class, July 19, includes 8 a.m. Yoga; 9 a.m. Zumba; 10 a.m. HIIT. GOSHEN — Combine biking and ice cream for a fun evening event. The Elkhart County Parks will offer a sweet cycle ride from Ox Bow Park to The Chief Ice Cream Shop from 6 to 8 p.m. July 26. Riders will begin at Ox Bow Haus Shelter in the park, 23033 County Road 45, and follow the Maple Heart Trail to The Chief for a refreshing treat. Cyclists will return to Ox Bow, giving riders 10 cycling miles. There is no fee for this ride, but there is a $3 vehicle fee into Ox Bow. All ages are welcome, but those 18 and younger need to be accompanied by an adult. Register by July 25 at www.elkhartcountyparks.org.
SOUTH BEND — Unity Gardens will hold a free Lunch N’ Learn at noon July 19. Learn ways to take produce from farm to fork and why it’s good for you with Marin Easton, registered dietitian. This Saturday, learn about “Eating the Rainbow,” and the featured recipe will be roasted garden vegetables. Unity Gardens is at 3701 Prast Blvd.
BUCHANAN — Walk Days are back at the Buchanan Area Senior Center. On July 18, take about a stroll along the Niles River Walk. Afterward, the group will have lunch at Downtown Niles Cafe. Lunch is the patron’s responsibility. Registration is required by calling the BASC at 269-695-7119. Let the BASC know if you will be meeting at the BASC at 9 a.m. to ride in the van, following the van or meeting at the Niles Amphitheater at 9:20 a.m.

SOUTH BEND — Michiana PAL Group (Parents of Addicted Loved Ones) meets every Thursday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Oak Tree Community Church, 53922 Olive Road. The group offers education and support to parents who are dealing with a child who is battling addiction. PAL also offers support to spouses who feel they must parent a partner with addiction issues.
