Notre Dame football is trying to flip a 2027 4-star Indiana commit

Notre Dame has some major recruiting power right now, and they’re using it to their advantage with a variety of players, including going after a few committed players.

The Irish won’t stop if a player has made a verbal, which was the case on Tuesday as they sent out an offer to Indiana cornerback commit Monsanna Torbert. The 5-foot, 10-inch and 158-pound Ohio native made his pledge to the Hoosiers in early January, prior to them winning the College Football Playoff.

Torbert is ranked as the country’s No. 249 overall prospect, and is considered as an athlete by the 247Sports Composite. He played quarterback and cornerback this past season, but many see him as a cornerback at the next level.

The Indiana offer was his best to date, but now that Notre Dame has entered the picture, it most likely will have him thinking about changing his mind. Currently he has an official visit set to see Bloomington next month, and there is still plenty of time for the Irish to get him on campus.
