It was a great welcome back to Frank Eck Stadium for Notre Dame baseball, as it continued to dominate during the 5-game win streak defeating Eastern Michigan 11-1 in eight innings.
It was the third game in-a-row that the Irish have ended the game early, outscoring their opponents 36-4. The bats were hot once again, this time Jayce Lee and Mason Barth leading the way. They each had two hits, with Lee scoring three runs and Barth driving in two.

Aiden Zerr got the start on the mound, but only went 2.1 innings due to some wildness walking three batters and allowing two hits. The Eagles scored their lone run early against him, as Xavier Hirsch, William Jaisie, Chase VanAmeyde and Garrett Snyder combined to allow just two more hits the rest of the game.
The win put Notre Dame’s record at 7-3, as it will start ACC player defensive this weekend on the road against Duke. The Blue Devils enter the series with a 12-3 record, as they’ll get conference play started on Friday night at Jack Coombs Field in Durham, North Carolina.
