INDIANAPOLIS – Caitlin Clark is Nike’s newest signature athlete — the first step to her dropping her own signature shoe through the apparel brand.
The Indiana Fever star and Nike announced the news Wednesday night with the release of her logo, which is a pair of interlocking C’s and a smaller C inside. Nike’s release on the logo states the interlocking C’s are meant to reflect Clark’s connection with her fans, and smaller C represents “how Caitlin’s game was built from the inside out — a product of her passion for the sport, relentless drive and constant pursuit of perfection.”
“To me, this is more than just a logo, it’s a dream come true,” Clark said in a statement announcing her logo. “People always talk about leaving your mark on the game — and this is another way I can do that.”
Because of special demand from Clark fans, Nike is doing two special edition drops following the logo release. A navy and yellow t-shirt will drop Sept. 1, while an apparel collection featuring her logo will be available Oct. 1.
Clark’s signature shoe will be released in 2026, along with a separate signature apparel collection. That collection will include shirts, pants, hoodies and shorts, along with special pieces in adult sizes only.
Clark will be the third active WNBA player with a signature shoe from Nike, joining the New York Liberty’s Sabrina Ionescu, who dropped her third shoe in July, and three-time MVP A’ja Wilson, who dropped her A’Ones in in May.
“At Nike, we’ve always drawn inspiration not only from the world’s greatest athletes but also from those who elevate the spirit of sport itself. Caitlin exemplifies both — an exceptional basketball player and an outstanding ambassador for the game,” Ann Miller, EVP of Nike Global Sports Marketing, said in a statement. “We’re excited to take this next step together, continuing to shape this historic time for women’s basketball, and pushing the game and industry forward.”
Other players around the league also have signature shoes with different brands: Angel Reese, who was part of Clark’s 2024 WNBA draft class, is also releasing a signature shoe with Reebok in 2025, and Breanna Stewart has released multiple models of signature shoes with Puma.
