Anyone who needs last-minute items from the grocery for Christmas needs to have everything purchased by Christmas Eve, Dec. 24. All Bloomington’s groceries will be closed for Christmas this year. Some of them will have shorter hours on Christmas Eve, so plan ahead — and remember that if you need to find a gift or stocking stuffer, you might find that as well as eggnog.
Here’s the list with hours for Christmas Eve and the day after Christmas:
Aldi stores, at 2035 Liberty Drive and 2813 E. Third St., will be open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 24. Normal hours resume on Dec. 26.
Bloomingfoods Co-op Market’s two stores, at 3220 E. Third St. and 316 W. Sixth St., will be open 8 a.m. to noon Dec. 24. There will be no hot bar, salad bar or deli. Both stores will open at noon Dec. 26 and close at 10 p.m.
Bloomington Farm Stop Collective, at 902 W. Kirkwood Ave., will be open 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Dec. 24 and 26.
Kroger stores will be open 6 a.m.-6 p.m. with the pharmacy closing around 4 p.m. Bloomington stores are at 1175 S. College Mall Road, 528 S. College Ave., 4025 S. Old Ind. 37, 500 Liberty Drive and 1825 N. Kinser Pike. Normal hours resume Dec. 26.
Target, at 2966 E. Third St., will be open 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Dec. 24, with normal hours on Dec. 26.
Walmart, at 3313 W. Ind. 45, will be open 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Dec. 24 with normal hours Dec. 26.
