Could Notre Dame star Jeremiyah Love get picked earlier than expected?

Jeremiyah Love had an NFL combine performance that many raved about and now we’re starting to see the results of his performance.

Pro Football Focus’ latest 2026 mock draft has the Tennessee Titans trading up to the No. 2 overall draft pick and selecting the former Notre Dame star. The mock, which was released on Monday, has Tennessee trading to go up two spots to secure Love, signifying their belief he could be a franchise-changing talent.

In the scenario, the Titans acquire the second pick while the Jets slide to No. 4 and also receive picks No. 35 and No. 101. PFF notes that since the Titans have spent most of the free-agency period focusing on the defensive side of the football field, that they could utilize the draft to focus and strengthen their offense. ESPN’s Mel Kiper also released his latest mock draft on Tuesday and he has the Titans drafting Love as well so there seems to be clear interest interest in the running back from Tennessee’s perspective.

It is not a shock that a PFF mock draft would have Love drafted so high. He has had back-to-back PFF overall grades of above 90.0 during his last two seasons at Notre Dame. PFF has Jeremiyah not only as their top-ranked running back, but it also describes him as having “exceptional acceleration, top-end speed and advanced footwork, along with proven ability as a receiver out of the backfield.”

He was a consensus first-team All-American in 2025, setting a single-season Notre Dame record with 21 total touchdowns and clocked a 4.36-second 40-yard dash at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine.
