Three Monroe County roads will be closed at times from Monday, March 9, through Thursday, March 12, for silo installation and culvert replacements. Seven other roads will have lane restrictions throughout the week.
Also, with more than 4 inches of rainfall in the area in the past week, be aware that other roads may be closed or impassable due to high water.
Road closures
Profile Parkway between Zenith Drive and Loesch Road will be closed 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, for silo installation at 4100 W. Profile Parkway.
Rockport Road between Duvall and May roads will be closed 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, through Thursday, March 12, about 100 feet from Duvall Road for culvert replacement.
Woodyard Road between Walcott Lane and Hartstrait Road will be closed 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday, March 9, through Wednesday, March 11, for culvert replacement. The closure will start at 5316 W. Woodyard Road and move westward.
Lane restrictions for road construction
Duke Road between Knightridge Road and end of county maintenance will have lane restrictions with traffic control 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday, March 9.
Empire Road between Old Ind. 37 South and end of county maintenance will have lane restrictions with traffic control 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 10.
Woodyard Road from Hunter Valley Road/Curry Pike to Griffith Court will have lane restrictions with traffic control 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, through Friday, March 13, for ditching starting at 4290 W. Woodyard Road and moving southeast.
Fieldstone Boulevard between Kirby Road and Daffodil Court will have lane restrictions with traffic control 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, through Friday, March 13, while repairing a culvert at 778 S. Fieldstone Blvd.
Serendipity Drive between Russell Road and end of county maintenance will have lane restrictions with traffic control 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 11.
Arlington Road between Shelburn Drive and Sugar Lane will have lane restrictions with traffic control 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Friday, March 13.
Thrasher Road between Ketcham Road and end of county maintenance will have lane restrictions with traffic control 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Friday, March 13.
Monroe County reminds drivers to slow down, avoid distractions, and consider worker safety when traveling through active construction zones. All closings are weather dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
