PEORIA — Easterseals Central Illinois will honor Caterpillar Inc. at its 2026 Tribute Dinner, the Peoria-based nonprofit announced Tuesday.
The Easterseals Tribute Dinner celebrates individuals and organizations whose “leadership, generosity, and commitment help ensure that every child in central Illinois has the opportunity to thrive,” according to a release.
In its 30-plus year history, the Easterseals’ biennial event has raised more than $17.5 million to support disability services and programs for children and families. The dinner is set for November 2026, with details about tickets and sponsorships to be announced early next year.
“For decades, Caterpillar has stood beside us not just as a partner, but as part of our extended family,” Easterseals Central Illinois CEO Melissa Riddle said in a release. “Their support shows up in big ways through major investments and community leadership, but also in the small, personal ways that matter just as much. Caterpillar employees are everywhere in our story.”
Caterpillar has plays an important role for Easterseals Central Illinois, said Riddle, helping fund programs while also providing volunteers and leadership.
The last few honorees at the Easterseals Tribute Dinner include: Mark and Jodi Scott (2024), Steve and Morene Thompson (2022), and the Coulter Family and Peoria Disposal Company (2018).
