The Chicago Bears are hosting the Los Angeles Rams for a divisional playoff game Sunday night at Soldier Field, where they are one win away from advancing to the NFC Championship Game.
But it won’t be easy against a high-powered Rams offense that ranks first in multiple categories and an equally dominant defense that does a good job getting after the quarterback. But the good news is that the Bears should have the weather on their side as they welcome the warm-weather Rams to Chicago.
The Bears secured the No. 2 seed in the NFC this season, which guaranteed them a second home playoff game. And this certainly looks like it’s going to pay dividends for Chicago when looking at the weather forecast for Sunday night’s game on the lakefront.

Chicago weather for Bears vs. Rams divisional playoffs
According to Accuweather’s latest forecast, it’s going to be a frigid and windy one during Sunday night’s game between the Bears and Rams, where they urge fans to “bundle up for the football game.” The temperature is expected to be 20 degrees at kickoff with a real-feel of -1 degree. It’s expected to snow roughly an hour or two before the game before cloudy conditions settle in with flurries expected around 8 p.m. CT. But one of the biggest factors will be the wind. Winds are expected to be 18-21 miles per hour with gusts reaching from 24-27 miles per hour, which could have an impact on the kicking game and passing game.
