When I first met Dillan Vancil, I did not meet a politician. I met a husband, a father, a former locomotive engineer, and the founder of Dame Fine Coffee, a small mobile coffee business he built into a successful enterprise.
In Congress, he will champion a more affordable America by fighting reckless spending, higher taxes, burdensome regulations and other forces that are driving up the cost of groceries, fuel, utilities and housing.

He believes in strong families, protecting the unborn and our Second Amendment rights. I’m impressed with Dillan’s grassroots support from local families, small business owners, and local GOPs who see someone who listens first and leads by example.
The people of Illinois have a history of giving outsiders a chance when they see humility, integrity, and a willingness to fight for others. I see all three in Dillan. If you want to retire the present uber-liberal congressman, Eric Sorensen and send a real conservative voice to Washington, Dillan Vancil is the one we should elect.
I encourage you to vote for Dillan Vancil for Congress in the 17th District on Tuesday, March 17. Early voting is now open.
Don Manzullo is a former congressman from Illinois.
