The Chicago Bears are gearing up for the start of NFL free agency, where general manager Ryan Poles has some pressing needs to address on the roster, most notably on defense.
There are needs at pretty much every position on defense, be it starter or depth wise, with defensive tackle, edge rusher, safety and linebacker the most crucial following recent moves and impending free agents. The good news there are solid options to address those in free agency.

The Bears are slated to have 27 players hit free agency, and Poles has plenty of work to do to bolster this roster. Chicago has roughly $25.56 million in available salary cap space, per Over the Cap.
