Bears place Kiran Amegadjie on injured reserve, elevate Dallis Flowers, Carl Jones

The Chicago Bears announced a few roster moves ahead of their game against the Dallas Cowboys, including a couple of players who are headed to injured reserve. Earlier on Saturday, NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported cornerback Jaylon Johnson was being placed on injured reserve due to a groin injury. Johnson will be out indefinitely, according to multiple reports.

The Bears also placed offensive lineman Kiran Amegadjie on injured reserve due to an elbow injury. The 2024 third-round pick has yet to appear in a regular season game this season and will miss at least the next four games.

The team also announced they have elevated cornerback Dallis Flowers and linebacker Carl Jones from the practice squad to the active roster. This will be Flowers’ first game with the Bears after he signed to the practice squad a couple of weeks ago. Finally, the Bears signed defensive end Tanoh Kpassagnon to the active roster from the practice squad, who totaled three tackles, one for loss, and one sack in two games.
