Playoff time is on the way for boys basketball in Northeast Florida.
The Florida High School Athletic Association rolled out its bracket for the 2025-26 hoops playoffs statewide on Feb. 9, setting the stage for the playoffs’ first steps on the road to the University of North Florida’s UNF Arena.
Bradford won the area’s most recent FHSAA boys basketball title in 2022. However, no team from the Jacksonville city limits or a bordering county has captured a championship since Bolles, a decade ago.
District champions qualified automatically, while the FHSAA allocated its at-large berths (four per region per class for 1A through 7A, two for Rural) based on its rating system.
Boys basketball playoffs are set to tip off on Saturday, Feb. 14.
