VOTE: Which UCF football quarterback will win starting competition for 2025 season?

The question came, of course. The answer remained non-committal.

At Big 12 media days earlier this month, UCF football coach Scott Frost said the Knights’ three-way quarterback competition is not settled. It will continue into fall camp, which begins July 28.

Jacurri Brown, Indiana transfer Tayven Jackson and Florida Atlantic transfer Cam Fancher duked it out throughout the spring, but Frost didn’t think anyone grabbed the job.

“I’ll tell you the truth — I’d go into the season with any one of the three and feel good that they could go win us games,” Frost said in Frisco, Texas. “I just haven’t seen any separation yet. I’m anxious for somebody to really take that next step forward and take the lead.”

So, who do you think it will be?

Brown is the only QB on the roster who threw a pass for UCF last fall. He appeared in nine games and compiled 398 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions through the air. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound dual-threat also rushed for 401 yards and four scores.

Jackson is the most high-profile after kicking off his career at Tennessee and suiting up for a College Football Playoff team in Indiana last year. In 2024, he totaled 349 passing yards, four touchdowns and one pick. The former four-star prospect made one start.

Fancher, the lone lefty in the competition, is the most experienced. This will be his fifth college football campaign, with previous stops at Marshall and Florida Atlantic. With the Owls last season, he completed 59% of his tosses for 1,528 yards, six touchdowns and six INTs. He likes to run around, too — 365 yards and three scores.

The poll will stay open until 9 a.m. July 27.
