Laugh out loud and help out retired firefighters.
Gulf Coast Retired Firefighters are holding a comedy show to raise money for their FDNY fire truck. The event, which begins at 7 p.m. Monday, March 16, should last about 90 minutes and is at the VFW hall at 800 Neffs Way, near the intersection of Pine Ridge Road and Collier Boulevard.

Comics Billy Bingo, Sheena Regan and headliner Bobby Collins take the stage to help raise funds for the truck. Bingo is a retired FDNY firefighter who’s been performing standup since 1999.
Tickets cost $40
Regan is a local comedian who’s been in the business for the past 10 years. And Collins has been performing standup since 1980.
Tickets cost $40 each and include one free drink. Contact Bill Dennis at (631) 764-3757, a former FDNY firefighter who retired five days before 9/11 and says he lost 17 friends in the tragedy.
The fire truck includes FDNY markings and is No. 343 for the number of firefighters who died on 9/11. The organization includes retired firefighters from across the U.S. but primarily consists of retired FDNY firefighters.
