The field of 176 players is set for the PGA Tour Q-School, presented by Korn Ferry, Dec. 11-14 at the TPC Sawgrass Dye’s Valley and Sawgrass Country Club.
Each player will compete on the Valley Course and Sawgrass in two rounds each. The top five at the end of the week will earn PGA Tour cards for the 2026 season, with players earning varying degrees of status on the PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour.
Half of the players in the field were exempt to the final stage. The other 88 had to get to the field through pre-qualifiers, first stage of second stage, with five players (Parker Holekamp, Greyson Leach, Tyler Leach, Tyler Wilkes, Marshall Meisel) making it from pre-qualifiers.
There are 54 players who went through first- and second-stage and 29 from second stage.
There are 49 PGA Tour members who had to return to Q-School to regain their status, 61 Korn Ferry Tour members, 31 from the PGA Tour Americas and 35 non-members.
Past Tour winners include Russell Knox, Adam Hadwin
There are 10 past PGA Tour winners in the field, including former Jacksonville University player Russell Knox, Adam Hadwin of Canada, Camilo Villegas, Ted Potter Jr., and Cameron Champ.
Joining Knox among First Coast players in the field are the 2024 Q-School medalist, Lanto Griffin, Tyler McCumber, Julian Suri, Luke Guthrie, Doc Redman, Sam Ryder, Alejandro Tosti and Ben Kohles.
The University of North Florida will be well-represented with Nick Gabrelcik, Lance Yates, Nick Infanti and Robbie Higgins.
Ex-Gators? In addition to Villegas and McCumber, there will be Fred Biondi, Ricky Castillo, Brett Stegmaier and Ian Gilligan.
Parking and admission to Q-School rounds at Dye’s Valley are free.
